3rd Saturday Class: Lawn Care Basics

March is the perfect time to learn more about restoring and maintaining your lawn! The class will be led by Master Gardener Larry Stewart, a Certified Lawn Care Professional who heads MGHC’s Residential Lawn Team. His presentation will include: the different types of turfgrasses; how to choose the one that suits particular soil and water conditions; various ways of planting and establishing a sustainable lawn; as well as how to manage annoying weeds, pests and diseases. Through his engaging talk, Larry will help you to create a lawn that is beautiful, healthy and environmentally friendly!

Classes are held in person at the UT/TSU Hamilton County Extension (6183 Adamson Circle, off Bonny Oaks Drive in Chattanooga).
