What is a National Park City?

The National Park City Foundation, a non-profit organization based in the United Kingdom, describes a National Park City as a “long-term grassroots movement for everyone making their city greener, healthier, and wilder.” A National Park City has a shared vision and commitment to connect people with nature, culture, and heritage, while continuing to keep a city clean, safe, and enjoyable for its citizens.
