Who Lives in the Cabbage Patch?

As the Dog Days come to an end, it is the perfect time to plan and plant an autumn vegetable garden. Many of these cool season crops are members of the cabbage family—a dietary staple almost since folks figured out farming. It is likely that arugula was the first family member cultivated.
