3rd Saturday Class: Pollinator Gardens Through the Seasons

August 15, 2020 @ 10:00 am 12:00 pm

“Pollinator Gardens through the Seasons” will highlight native plants recommended to sustain pollinators throughout the year. Keystone plant species for Hamilton county will be discussed, as well as companion plantings that make each season special. In addition, the talk will cover best practices for maintaining wildlife and pollinator habitats, such as winter leaves should be left in beds and under trees to benefit our bees, moths, butterflies, and birds. All pictures will be from Ann Brown’s certified pollinator garden.

Handouts on native plants, bloom times, a Monarch Waystation planting guide, etc. can be downloaded in PDF format and printed from the Wild Ones’ website: https://tnvalleywildones.org/plant-info/how-to-plant-a-native-plant-garden/

Questions, email Ann at brownw01@yahoo.com. I am more than happy to help.
