SUMMARY:3rd Saturday Class: All About High Tunnels
DESCRIPTION:High tunnels are used to extend the growing season and can also be helpful in deterring pests. Similar to greenhouses\, high tunnels use passive solar radiation for heat making them environmentally friendly and cost-efficient. Plus Master Gardeners presenting demos\, exhibits\, and fun activities for children. Learn about: Bees\, Bluebirds\, Composting\, Fall Vegetables\, Mulching\, Native Plants & Pollinators\, Rain Barrels\, Raised Beds\, and Tree Care.  Purchase: Rain Barrels\, Grow Buckets\, and Hand Made Crafts.  Also enjoy local food trucks and homemade baked goods for sale.
