Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that brings together volunteers and individual and corporate donors to build affordable housing. These houses are sold at no profit and with no interest to low income families. Habitat for Humanity of Chattanooga strives to complete 10 to 12 home year. The Master Gardeners help in this endeavor by providing manpower and expertise to landscape the homes with foundation plants and trees. The new homeowners take great pride in their homes and the landscaping enhances the home and the surrounding neighborhood.
