There are many ways to earn service hours throughout the year. The list below represents just a few of the ways you can contribute your time and expertise to the Chattanooga-area community. Chattanooga Area Food Bank Community Garden
Regular weekly Work Parties will begin on Monday, February 1 & go through the end of May:
Mondays & Tuesdays: Community Garden Greenhouse, 1100 Gateway Ave. – 9:30-11:30am
Wednesdays & Thursdays: Food Bank Teaching Garden Greenhouse, 2009 Curtain Pole Rd. – 9:30-11:30am

River Bend Festival (June 11- 19, 2010)
Concession stand volunteers needed for River Bend 2010. The location needs 3 volunteers each night to help raise money for CAFB. You must be 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license and go through a brief orientation session at the CAFB.

The Chattanooga Nature Center is looking for gardeners to help maintain the Fragrance Garden established years ago by Master Gardeners. Also, Plant People are needed to help plan, plan and maintain the native plant gardens. You can call and leave a message for Cecilia at (423) 921-1160, extension 0.
Chattanooga’s world-famous Tennessee Aquarium has many indoor and outdoor gardening opportunities. Contact Charlene Nash at (423) 785-4071 on Tuesday – Saturday 7:30 am to 9:00 am for more information.
