Lectures & Demos

Below is a list of the demonstrations and lectures from the 2015 “Master Your Garden” Garden Expo presented by the Master Gardeners of Hamilton County and the University of Tennessee Extension. For 2016, there will be 2 classrooms where a total of 17 lectures will be given. The information for the 4th Annual Garden Expo, to be held April 9th and 10th at Camp Jordan Arena, will be published as soon as we finalize the schedule.

During the “Master Your Garden” Garden Expo, Master Gardeners are presenting live demonstrations and gardening experts are scheduled to speak on a variety of topics.

The live demonstrations will include:

  • Composting
  • Proper Mulching
  • Raised beds and all types of container gardening, and
  • Physically Challenged with adaptive tools gardening
