Just in time for the summer bounty of fruits and vegetables, the University of Tennessee Extension-Hamilton County is offering a food preservation class on Tuesday, July 19 at either 9:30 – 11:30 am or 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the UT Extension office, 6138 Adamson Circle in Chattanooga. The class will cover preserving jams and jellies, pickling, waterbaths, freezing, blanching and pressure canning. The cost is $20 and includes a reference book, samples and door prizes.
