The UT Extension is offering a workshop on food preservation on Thursday, July 22, 2010. During this 2-hour session, you will learn the basics of safely canning and freezing foods of:
- Jams & Jellies
- Pressure Canner
There are two sessions to chose from: a daytime session from 9:30 am to 11:30 am or an evening session running from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Both sessions will be taught at the UT Extension office at 6183 Adamson Circle. The cost is $20 and includes reference books.
Spots are limited and you need to register by July 14 by mailing a $20 check or money order to the UT Extension Office or dropping off your cash payment:
